The Valencian Institute of Tourist Technologies is currently dependent on the Valencian Regional Department of Tourism, operating throughout the Region of Valencia, and supported by the different public and private agents that make up the Region’s tourist sector.

In the future, Invat.tur will be constituted as a Non-Profit Association, in accordance with article 22 of the Spanish Constitution, Organic Act 1/2002, of 22nd March, regulating the Right of Association, and the Valencian Regional Act 14/2008, of 18th November 2008, regarding Associations in the Region of Valencia, thereby reinforcing its nature as a shared project and meeting point with the tourist sector.

Hence, the Articles of Association define a consultative body with maximum sector representation that contributes to the establishment of guidelines governing the centre’s actions, and endows them with the comprehensive and transversal perspective that characterises tourist activity.
